We have recently been working at Frimley park hospital, removing old sockets and installing white plastic 3 compartment trunking, fitted around the walls. We have fitted this at a dado height above worktop, but this could also have been done in a skirting finish fitted at low level. The good thing about this system is that the telephone & data points, double sockets etc. are together and can easily be added /changed quickly and econonically. When we carried out works we issued a electrical test certificate and labelled up the circuit at the distribution board and on the sockets to make it easily identifiable for future use/emergency etc.
